The Rotary International Youth Climate Competition Launch Ceremony -25 November 2023 (Saturday)

The Rotary International Youth Climate Competition Launch Ceremony will take place virtually on 25 November 2023, coinciding with World Habitat Day.

The first Rotary International Youth Climate Change Competition was jointly organized by the Rotary Club of Tai Po in D3450 and the Rotary Club of Makati San Lorenzo in D3880, and the Climate Reality Project in the Philippines.

It is expected that 400-500 youth participants will join the Competition, where international teams will develop proposals to address various climate issue with support from international Rotary and climate experts. Winners, selected by an international panel, will present their projects at the International Youth Climate Summit in mid-2024 and receive awards from RCTP and RCMSL to support their project developments.

Green In Our Hands Recycling Competition

We are in the fourth month of our Green in Our Hands Recycling Competition and thanks to the effort of Vice Chair IPP Annyee of Rotary Club of HK Northeast in promoting this competition. So far there is about 50 clubs in the Competition and a total of Green $250,000+ points have been earned.

The clubs will have until 15th April 2024 to earn Green$ points which will be used to redeem groceries such as rice and noodles. The club that got the most Green$ points will get to choose the NGO to donate the groceries to. Gather your family and friends to join in the recycling to earn more Green$ points, redeem into groceries and donate to the needy! The rest of the Rotary family – Rotaract, Interact, Junioract and RCC Clubs are welcome to join this meaning competition.
