The launching ceremony of “Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Defibrillation Education Program 2023-2024”, jointly organized by Rotary International District 3450, Rotary Club of Hong Kong North East and Hong Kong St. John Ambulance, was held on 2nd Dec 2023 at the headquarters of Hong Kong St. John Ambulance.
This program was established in 2016 and aims to educate high school teachers and students aged 13 and above in Hong Kong, or people who are euthanistic in rescuing patients with cardiac arrest when needed. So far, it has successfully trained 6,800 members of the public, of which 4,800 of them are students.
This program is provided by the Hong Kong St. John Ambulance, and is a 6-hour adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation and automated external defibrillation certificate course. Participants will be awarded the St John CPR/AED certificates after completion of the course and passing the exam. The certificate is valid for 3 years and is free of charge for the participants of this program.
心肺復甦法及去顫法教育計劃2023-2024
由國際扶輪3450地區、香港東北扶輪社聯同香港聖約翰救護機構合作舉辧的「心肺復甦法及去顫法教育計劃2023-2024」，於今年12月2日香港聖約翰救護機構總部舉行開幕典禮。
該計劃於2016年創辦，對象為全港多家中、小學的校長、老師、職員及13歲以上之學生，或有志在需要時救助心跳停頓患者的人士，至今已成功訓練6,800名市民，當中更包括4,800名中學及大學生。
計劃由香港聖約翰救護機構提供6小時證書課程，包括成人心肺復甦法證書課程及自動體外心臟去纖維性顫動法證書課程，完成課程及考試及格後，可獲香港聖約翰救護機構頒發「心肺復甦法及去顫法」證書，證書有效期為3年，課程費用全免。
