This project hosted by Rotary Club of Hong Kong North Point X D3450 X 8 Co-organizing Clubs starts from Sept 1 to Nov 18, 2023. It covered two parts: Street Dance Education and Street Dance Contest.
Street Dance Education
Supported by District Grant and echo with Rotary’s 2023-24 theme, “Create Hope in the World”, this project aims to create hope for youth, equipping them with essential qualities and enhancing their overall wellness.
Between September to November 2023, a comprehensive street dance training program was organized with a total of 60 hours of training to students from 5 schools :
Buddhist To Chi Fat She Yeung Yat Lam Memorial School (SEN School)
Rotary Club of Hong Kong Island West Hong Chi Morning Star School
CCC Kwei Wah Shan College (Ethic minority School)
Li Sing Tai Hang School (Ethic Minority School
Man Kiu Association Primary School (Ethic Minority School)
This training aimed to prepare them for the Rotary Star Dance 11th Street Dance Contest,

The 11th Rookie Stars Street Dance Contest
The Rookie Stars Street Dance Contest successfully took place on 18 November 2023 at CCC Kwei Wah Shan College with over 400 dance contests and 1000 guests.
The contest featured 32 team contestants and special education street dance performing teams. DG Andy Li, Presidents, and Rotarians demonstrated their support and engagement by visiting the students’ training sessions and attending the contest. RI President R. Gordon R. McInally’s attendance at contest VIP served as a strong endorsement and showcased Rotary’s unwavering support for the initiative.
